Phew, it's been a year...hasn't it? And, it's not anywhere near over yet. From the political and civil unrest to the medical and economic struggles, the countless senseless deaths, and all the heartbreak everyone's managing right now, this has been one heck of a year. But, I hold on to the hope that we (as human beings, all members of the same race -- the human race) will make it through this trying period, and find ways to see and talk to each other (again.)
In the meanwhile...
We keep moving.
One step at a time, one breathe at a time: in, out, repeat; and here at Sela Films, one project at a time.
Right now, we have two short-form projects on our slate that I am so excited about! The first, a musical!! Can you believe it? A romantic "comedy" of sorts... Comedy is in quotes because the subject matter explored in this film is far from comedic, but the hope at the end is light and beautiful.
I present to you, "As The Cookie Crumbles"drumroll!!
This is a film about a boy proposing to a girl; boy getting dumped by the girl; boy crashing into a widow (another girl), and boy learning a lesson in the art of love. Fun times! And, of course, there's music! Thanks to our wonderful composer Ananth Sundara.
